Alexandra D. Morris was born in Athens, Georgia, in 1993 and moved to Cherokee County later that year. After graduating from Woodstock High School, she attended the University of Georgia, where she graduated magna cum laude in 2014.
Ms. Morris then moved to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where she attended the Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center on a full-tuition academic scholarship. At LSU Law, she participated in a dual degree program, which provided instruction in both the Civil and Common Law systems. While in law school, Ms. Morris served as a senior associate on the Journal of Energy Law and Resources. Additionally, she received a CALI Excellence for the Future Award, participated in various mock trial competitions, and interned at the Court of Appeals of Georgia. In 2018, she graduated cum laude from LSU Law with her Juris Doctor degree and Graduate Diploma in Comparative Law.
After returning home to Georgia, Ms. Morris joined the Burns Law Group's domestic team. She lives in Cherokee County with her family and two German Shepherd Dogs.
